Shelby Bowman is a certified physician assistant and joined Atlanta Breast Care in the spring of 2021. Shelby was born and raised in Augusta, GA. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Kinesiology from The University of Georgia. She then completed her medical training at Mercer University where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. Prior to joining our practice, she gained experience working in primary care.

Shelby enjoys spending her free time with family and friends. She and her husband, Chris, love traveling, trying new restaurants, listening to live music, and spending time with their dog, Griffey.
